Sustainability & Sacred Reciprocity
At our healing centre in Peru, sustainability is not a trend — it is a spiritual responsibility. We live in conscious relationship with the rainforest, honouring the principle of reciprocity: what we receive from the Earth, we give back with care. Our way of life is guided by simplicity, respect, and harmony with nature.
Our Own Cacao
Cacao is the heart of our land. We grow and prepare our own cacao with reverence, honouring its ancestral role as a bridge between the physical and spiritual worlds. From seed to cup, the entire process remains in our hands — cultivated naturally, harvested consciously, and prepared in ceremony.
Our cacao is:
-
Cultivated naturally
-
Prepared traditionally
-
Shared in ceremony and daily nourishment
By growing cacao on our land, we maintain a direct relationship with the plant — from seed to cup — ensuring integrity, purity, and gratitude in every serving.
Growing Our Own Food
We cultivate much of our own food directly on the land. This ensures freshness, purity, and energetic integrity.
Vegetables we grow:
-
Cucumbers
-
Green onions (scallions)
-
Seasonal herbs
Fruits from our land:
-
Papaya
-
Mango
Our garden nourishes both body and spirit. Food harvested just steps from where it is prepared carries vitality that cannot be replicated. Guests experience meals that are simple, clean, and deeply connected to the soil.
Rainwater Harvesting
Water is sacred. During the rainy season, we collect and store rainwater to reduce our environmental impact and live in alignment with the natural cycles of the jungle.
This system allows us to:
-
Minimize reliance on external water sources
-
Preserve local ecosystems
-
Practice conscious water usage
-
Stay connected to the rhythm of the land
Rain becomes part of our daily ceremony — a reminder that the forest provides when we listen.
